Information to help you if you're considering our school

  • You can visit the school on one of our open mornings, or individual tours can be arranged for most weekday school mornings.  It is best to allow about an hour for your visit.

Many children join us in our Nursery during the term they become three years of age, but we welcome enquiries at all age levels and each year new children will join year groups throughout the school.

  • Children are admitted to Collingwood after spending a taster day with us. The School is non-selective academically, but there are basic academic standards required for entry to ensure that new pupils can be integrated fully into our curriculum. Support is also offered, if necessary, to ensure children can have full access to all that Collingwood provides. Read our full Admissions Policy & Procedures for more details.

  • I have heard our parents say that Collingwood School feels like a ‘village school sitting in the busy suburbs of London’. We have to agree! The warm family feel; the small class sizes and the fact every child, young and old, know all the other children, really sets us apart from other schools in this area.

    • My daughter has thrived in the school. She looks forward to going to school and enjoys all the facilities the school offers. Teachers are great and provide a great environment for the children

      Year Six parent
    • Teachers are amazing and it shows in the pupils who attend the school. Polite and respectful, yet confident too. All the staff are so supportive and it’s great having a headteacher who is approachable to both students and parents.
